The application for the 2019-2020 Multicultural Student Council is extended until March 31! Apply to be a part of an incredible organization that creates incredible programming, such as Taste of the World, to educate the Stetson community on diversity and inclusion.

As student leaders, the Multicultural Student Council aims to integrate diversity and inclusion into the Stetson campus by providing various resources, cultural education and programming. The members of the Council facilitate conversation, bring forth initiatives and bring change in many forms to campus.

The positions available are: Chair, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Finance, Communications Officer, and Records and Documents Officer.

Mission Statement:

The Multicultural Student Cultural is a leadership organization that fosters continual development through the facilitation of thought and intercultural programming. We aim to benefit those within the community by challenging and equipping them with resources to advocate for others and themselves. As advocates, we act as a resource that provides students with information and skills to take action and create partnerships within their community on campus. 

Vision Statement:

We aim to provide resources and assist underrepresented students by creating dialogue and fostering change within the campus community.

  • Provide cultural programming on campus 
  • Provide support for the Multicultural Student Council organizations 
  • Create partnerships within the Stetson Community
