The application for the 2019-2020 Multicultural Student Council is now live! Apply to be a part of an incredible organization that created Taste of the World and helps bring keynote speakers to campus, such as Ndaba Mandela.

As student leaders, the Multicultural Student Council aims to integrate diversity and inclusion into the Stetson campus by providing various resources, cultural education and programming. The members of the Council facilitate conversation, bring forth initiatives, and bring change in many forms to campus.

Mission Statement:

The Multicultural Student Cultural is a leadership organization that fosters continual development through the facilitation of thought and intercultural programming. We aim to benefit those within the community by challenging and equipping them with resources to advocate for others and themselves. As advocates, we act as a resource that provides students with information and skills to take action and create partnerships within their community on campus. 

Vision Statement:

We aim to provide resources and assist underrepresented students by creating dialogue and fostering change within the campus community.  

Multicultural Student Council Goals: 

  • Provide cultural programming on campus 
  • Provide support for the Multicultural Student Council organizations 
  • Create partnerships within the Stetson Community
