Off-Campus Access to Library Resources – Spring 2019

In December, IT implemented a needed security protocol (HSTS) on the Stetson network. Unfortunately, this security protocol and the library’s off-campus authentication software (EZProxy) are incompatible as they are currently configured. This incompatibility is causing the off-campus access issues many people are experiencing.

We have found that Microsoft browsers, like Internet Explorer and Edge, work best to allow off-campus access. The Opera browser also works well for PCs and Macs.  

The library is working with our colleagues in IT to fix this problem. We have found a solution but it will take time to implement. Please bear with us as we relocate programs and upgrade to a new solution.
