Rotaract Professional Development Week

Rotaract Club of Stetson University proudly invites you to participate in our Rotaract Spring Week! In the month of March, we are hosting a plethora of events dedicated to helping students improve their professional development skills and network with career professionals. Rotaract Professional Clothing Drive – March 11-15 – CUB – 10 a.m. -2 p.m.
SU Rotaract will be holding a donation drive of professional clothing which will be given to the Salvation Army or the Neighborhood Center of DeLand to benefit those who are looking into entering the job force and need of clothes suitable for interviews.

Rotaract Presents: Social Media Management, Ethics & Your Career – March 11
duPont-Ball Library 25L – 6 p.m.
Rotaract will be starting its professional development week by having a seminar focused on social media and how your reputation can affect your future career. This event is approved for Cultural Credit.

Rotaract Movie Night: “Saving Capitalism” – March 12 – CUB Garage – 7 p.m.
Rotaract will be hosting a movie night featuring the movie, “Saving Capitalism,” apart of Rotaract Week. After the movie will be discussion questions about professional character/ethics. This event is approved for Cultural Credit.

Rotaract Presents: Financial Literacy & Loan Forgiveness – March 13
Stetson Room – 6 p.m.

Rotaract will be hosting an event teaching the Stetson campus how to better manage their money and invest, as well as the importance of loan forgiveness after college, taught by Dr. Patrick Coggins. This event is Cultural Credit.

Rotaract Presents: How to Market Self as Creative Art & Music Student – March 14
Library 25L – 6 p.m.

Rotaract will be hosting an event marketed toward creative arts students discussing resume building and how to market your transferable skills. This event is cultural credit.

Rotaract 3rd Annual Career Dinner & Social – March 15
Rinker Welcome Center – 7-9 p.m.

Rotaract will host an event open to the Stetson community, which will feature a sit-down dinner alongside career professionals, to allow students to grow connections and have the ability to talk to professionals within their career of interest. This event will Co-Sponsored by Career and Professional Development.


Rotaract is a collegiate community service and professional development organization for young men and women aged 18-30, valuing diversity. Our club is sponsored by the DeLand Breakfast Rotary and a part of Rotary International. After being on hiatus, Rotaract has been rechartered since 2016 after its initial charter in 2004. We are always looking for potential Rotaractors to help engage in the service of helping others, as well as developing professional and leadership skills while respecting the rights of others. Besides acts of community service, we participate in conferences and study abroad opportunities.
