This semester, Stetson University is participating in the National Assessment of Service and Community Engagement (NASCE), a web-based survey that measures an institution’s overall level of community engagement by evaluating the rate, frequency, and depth of student community engagement activities. Stetson is dedicated to the promotion of community engagement on our campus, and we are interested in your experiences and attitudes. This survey is a wonderful opportunity to assess how Stetson serves the needs of the community and to highlight the efforts and passions of our students.
Beginning last Monday, Oct. 29, all undergraduate students received an email from “NASCE at Stetson University” – with a link to the online survey – inviting you to participate. You’ll receive another email requesting your participation before the survey period ends on Friday, Nov. 9. Regardless of your level of community engagement, we highly encourage you to take the survey. It should only take about 15 minutes to complete and the results will contribute to a growing understanding of community engagement in higher education. We will use the data to identify where we as an institution are doing well and where we can improve in order to build better students, a stronger school, and a more vibrant community.
Upon completion of the survey, you will be automatically entered into a raffle for one of three gift certificates for $100 with restaurants and shops in Downtown DeLand.
