Water Festival Volunteers Needed!
The 2018 Water Festival will take place on Saturday, April 28, in downtown DeLand. Produced by the Volusia Water Alliance in partnership with Stetson’s Institute for Water and Environmental Resilience, the City of DeLand, Blue Spring Alliance and others, the Festival focuses on educating the community about the urgent need to conserve and protect our main source of drinking water. There will be water-themed activities for children and adults, music, dancing, live mermaids, a Blessing of the Waters ceremony, educational and environmental organizations, and much more. Volunteers are needed to assist with activities and Cultural Credit will be available.
To volunteer, contact Sharon Leboffe, Water Festival Volunteer Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 215-834-0704.
