Please join us for some exciting workshops coming up this week and next in the duPont-Ball Library’s Innovation Lab.

Soldering: Learn the basics of soldering and the tools used to complete your electronic and wiring projects, presented on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Five seats are available (please sign up here).

3D Scanning: In this workshop, located in the Virtual Gaming Room 112 within the Innovation Lab of duPont-Ball Library, we will use the Artec 3D scanner to accomplish two different types of scans and then edit them to produce an .stl file for 3D printing. Some best practices will be emphasized to help achieve the best scan possible. After this overview, a student should be comfortable with the process of how to scan objects successfully into 3D. 3D Printing: Lean how to create amazing things using our 3D printers. Presented on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Five seats remain (please sign up here).
