StressLess 2017 with The WELL Team!
This semester’s lineup for StressLess week is sure to help you feel less stressed and more prepared to take on those final exams! Through great partnerships with Stetson and other community members, we are excited to offer a variety of programs sure to appeal to all! Below is a list of the upcoming events!
Tuesday, April 25, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: PAWS Therapy Dogs in Library
Wednesday, April 26, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Tobacco Free Florida + BAC Table outside of The CUB. Bring those BAC Cards to get your free Nalgene bottle!
Thursday, April 27, 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m.: Stress & Fatigue Learn over Lunch by Chiropractic Connection in the Hollis Center Classroom. Please register here for the program; space is limited! Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Prescription Take Back Day with Drop Box available outside of The CUB. Bring your unused and expired prescription medications to be safely disposed of!
Monday, May 1, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Tea time for Stress Relief serving hot tea, stress relieving activities and special guests from the meditation club, offering guided meditation sessions. Find us in the Hollis Center Lounge!
Tuesday, May 2, 12 – 2 p.m.: Summer fun on The Green – Get active and de-stress, grab a safer summer survival kit!
Wednesday, May 3, 12 – 3 p.m.: Eno in the Quad with WELL Team and SOAR
Wednesday, May 3, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.: Pop up ice cream party with the Chaplains outside of The CUB
Wednesday, May 3, 6 – 7 p.m.: Evening Yoga on the Green. Join a free yoga class and de-stress before your finals! The focus of the class will be on relaxation and mindfulness, but we will also work on strength, balance and flexibility. Inspired by Vinyasa yoga, we will move in a flow between different poses and end in a guided meditation. All levels are welcome!
Thursday, May 4, 9 a.m. – noon: Kicken’ it with Kids! Unwind with baby goats! Enjoy facilitated deep breathing and meditation session and some R&R with baby goats offered by Wildflower Farms in Orlando. This program will be located on the Rinker Field!
