Rabbi Altman to speak at Sacred Space this Wednesday
Rabbi Barry Altman will be the guest speaker for this Wednesday’s Sacred Space program. Rabbi Altman, who is on the Stetson University faculty and Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Beth-El in Ormond Beach, will talk about the moral implications of the Holocaust. Stetson chaplain Sensei Morris Sekiyo Sullivan will officiate this week’s program, which is at 1:30 p.m. in Allen Hall.
Sacred Space offers the Stetson community a chance to take a break from the daily routine and enjoy a moment of peace and interfaith spiritual reflection. Each short, informal service is followed at 2 p.m. by a half hour of coffee and conversation time, when students and others can mingle and discuss spiritual life. Everyone, regardless of religious affiliation or non-affiliation, is welcome to attend and participate.
