Rabbi Altman to speak at Sacred Space this Wednesday

Rabbi Barry Altman will be the guest speaker for this Wednesday’s Sacred Space program. Rabbi Altman, who┬áis on the Stetson University faculty and Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Beth-El in Ormond Beach, will talk about the moral implications of the Holocaust. Stetson chaplain Sensei Morris Sekiyo Sullivan will officiate this week’s program, which is at 1:30 p.m. in Allen Hall.

Sacred Space offers the Stetson community a chance to take a break from the daily routine and enjoy a moment of peace and interfaith spiritual reflection. Each short, informal service is followed at 2 p.m. by a half hour of coffee and conversation time, when students and others can mingle and discuss spiritual life. Everyone, regardless of religious affiliation or non-affiliation, is welcome to attend and participate.
