Planned Migration of G: drive to OneDrive

During the week of spring break, Stetson IT will be migrating the G: drives for all students to personal OneDrive accounts linked to each student’s Stetson.edu email account.

Why are we making this change? OneDrive will help students work more efficiently and collaborate much more easily than Legacy G: drive.  If you are familiar with the features of Dropbox or Google Drive, you will note the similarities to OneDrive.

What do you need to do to prepare? Nothing is required. During the spring break, we will migrate all of your files to your OneDrive account. Only you will have access to your OneDrive account, and you will no longer see or have access to a G: drive.

How do I access my files in OneDrive? Two ways to access your files: 1) Open a web browser, log in to email.stetson.edu, click the button in the top left, and click “OneDrive”; 2) Download the OneDrive application on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop and log in to the application.
