Ad Astra Launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of Ad Astra, the University’s new scheduling software.  Ad Astra will allow the University to better manage space and provide a centralized source for room and space requests.  This will be one in a series of announcements to keep you informed about the system.  Our initial launch is limited so that we can provide the best possible support.  The groups below should now use Ad Astra to request space.  All other groups should continue to submit requests for space as they normally would.

  • DeLand campus Student Organizations – Leadership of each Student Organization has been given access to request space.
  • DeLand Administrative Assistants – Administrative Assistants in most areas have been given access to request space and approve space.  Faculty members can utilize their department administrative assistants to request space.
  • Course schedule – The course schedule for all four Stetson University campuses is live in Ad Astra and the Registrar’s Offices on all campuses will utilize Ad Astra as part of the scheduling process.
  • Event requests for the College of Law will continue through the Events Office.  We are currently working on the transition between EMS and Ad Astra.  Once that process is complete and testing has been done, College of Law space requests will be handled in Ad Astra.

A few areas have requested a delayed launch to coincide with their own schedules.  A running list of those areas is located on

We anticipate all users to have access to Ad Astra by the end of this month.  This is our targeted date.  We will send further information at that time.  The University Registrar’s Office has created a basic information page at for Ad Astra information and news.  A quick guide on the use of Ad Astra can be found on that site.
