Limited Evening Hours at the Counseling Center
The Counseling Center, in partnership with Stetson’s Counselor Education program, is offering counseling sessions at 6 p.m. on Mondays! Graduate level counselors from the Counselor Education program will be providing the counseling in conjunction with their supervisor, Dr. Leigh DeLorenzi, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Assistant Professor of Counselor Education. There are three counselors available each week, and students will attend sessions every other week.
Thirty-minute screenings for these evening sessions will take place on Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at 6 p.m. and continue on Monday, Feb. 13, with three openings each week. Regular 50-minute counseling sessions will begin two weeks following the screening. *If you are struggling with severe, ongoing mental health issues including suicidal thoughts, please call the Counseling Center as soon as possible to schedule an appointment with a licensed counselor.*
If this semester’s busy schedule makes it difficult to come to the Counseling Center during the day, this is a great opportunity for you! But you’ll need to call and set up your screening fast — with a total of only six spots available; we expect them to fill up quick!
Please call the Counseling Center at 386-822-8900 to set up your screening! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Rachel Boldman, Director of the Counseling Center, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
