Christian Theology Lecture
On Thursday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Stetson Room, Dr. David A. deSilva will present a lecture as a part of the Christian Theology Lectures, sponsored by the Department of Religious Studies. The title of his lecture will be “Grace: The Free Gift That Costs Us Everything.”
Dr. deSilva is Trustees’ Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Greek at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio and the author of over 25 books. Cultural credit is available for attending the lecture.
The Christian Theology Lectures, founded in 1975 by an anonymous Florida donor, is an endowed lectureship whose purpose is to bring to the DeLand campus speakers who will provide a better understanding of and engagement with the Christian tradition.
