Stetson’s Latin American Studies program is offering a 5-week summer Spanish & culture course in beautiful Cuenca, Ecuador, between May 20 and June 24. The program cost of $4,500 includes housing with an Ecuadoran family, three meals per day and credit for two courses, a Spanish class at a level appropriate for the student (including beginners) and a class in English on the Latin American humanities with a special focus on Ecuador. Program costs also include insurance, all entrance fees, and engaging weekend excursions in southern Ecuador to nearby indigenous communities, ancient ruins, waterfalls, and the El Cajas National Park.
