Study abroad in a brand new Latin American/Spanish program heading to Cuenca, Ecuador! The program will be taking place in summer, from May 20 to June 24, 2017.
Led by Dr. Robert Sitler, students will have the opportunity to explore the Incan ruins of Ingapirca, visit el Cajas national park, and experience the indigenous communities of Saraguro and Tambo in addition to the history-rich community of Sigsig. Additional activities include direct language exchanges with Ecuadoran students, home-stays and two nights living with indigenous communities, participation in the Corpus Christi and Inti Raymi celebrations, and trips to local hot springs and waterfalls.
The program cost of $4,500 includes eight credit hours of LAS and/or Spanish Language credit, three meals a day, in-country transportation, entrance fees and guides, or $3,500 if only receiving four credits.
