Open Enrollment Begins!

Human Resources would like to remind you that the annual Open Enrollment Period began Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 31.  This year, there are no changes in benefit vendors, and no changes in rates for health and dental benefits, though there is a slight increase in cost to vision.  As a result, employees only need to submit forms (no online open enrollment this year) if they are making changes to benefits (i.e. adding or deleting coverage, changing coverage types or level, changing dependent information) or electing FLEX benefits. Also, please remember that our annual Benefit Fairs will be held in October at both the DeLand and College of Law campuses.  Both events will have representatives from our benefit providers, local benefit and wellness resources, prizes, giveaways, and updated information about the Open Enrollment processes.  Event details are included below:

DeLand Campus:

  • Date:  Friday, Oct. 7, 2016
  • Time:  12 to 4 p.m.
  • Location: Rinker Field House in the Hollis Center

College of Law Campus:

  • Date: Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016
  • Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  (UHC Information Session is 1:30-2 p.m. in Mann Lounge.)
  • Location: College of Law—Great Hall and Mann Lounge
