Student Volunteers Needed for Library Projects

The duPont-Ball Library wants to know how students use and experience the library. We are looking for student volunteers for the following projects taking place during April:

  • Video Study—Students will video and audio record themselves as they complete certain objectives in the library like finding a book or searching for research articles. This should take no more than 30 minutes.
  • Diary Study—Students will record their day – what they did, where they went to study, how and why they used the library, etc. – for an entire week.

Both of these projects will allow the library to learn how students perceive and use the library. All data will be confidential and used to improve library services to students. Plus, all students who participate will receive a small gift for their time. This project is open to residential students, commuter students, regular library users, and infrequent library users.

Please e-mail Dr. Jason Martin ( by Wed., Apr. 6, if you are interested in participating.
