COBRA Notices Sent to Employees

Please be aware that as a result of the university’s change to United Healthcare, a new COBRA notice is being distributed to all full-time benefits eligible employees. This notice is simply information for employees on their rights under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 and does not require any action. The information includes a description of your rights under COBRA, and when you may qualify for continuation of coverage through COBRA should you lose coverage due to separation or a qualifying event.
