Start your year with a concert

If “more culture” is one of your 2016 resolutions, the School of Music has a terrific line-up of concerts this spring.

Start the year with the world-class bass-baritone Kevin Short, whose concert will include folk songs and spirituals as well as opera favorites by Verdi and Ravel: Friday, Jan. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Lee Chapel.

Robert Milne will be playing ragtime and boogie-woogie piano at its best on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 p.m in Lee Chapel.

And for something new and absolutely extraordinary, don’t miss Ensemble P4, a piano and percussion quartet that includes two Stetson faculty, Dr. Kristie Born, piano, and Dr. Marja Kerney, percussion:  Friday, Jan. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Lee Chapel.

The School of Music welcomes the public, and admission is complimentary.
