Getting Focused for Finals
Feeling stressed about finals? Not sure how your studying, final projects, and papers are all going to get done? Meditation is a helpful tool for decreasing stress and increasing focus. Join us for this event that will include both theory and practice on Monday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Those who attend will receive cultural credit for attending this event on Monday.
This main event will be followed by a second event on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 2-3 p.m. in the Stetson Room. Students will be able to create a mini Zen garden as a tool to help decrease stress. Zen gardens are a tool to aid in meditation. At 2:45 p.m., we invite all, students, staff and faculty to join us in a mediation led by Lindsey Graves, Assistant Director of Interfaith Initiatives for a campus wide Mediation to de-stress before finals. The Mediation will begin promptly at 2:50 p.m.
