HIV/AIDS In American Film Series
In conjunction with the class being taught by James Perlotto, M.D., a landmark American film that deals with HIV/AIDS will be shown once a week on MONDAY evenings at 7 p.m., followed by a discussion; films are shown in duPont-Ball Library in room 25L. This week film will be “Angels In America Part I”, an exploration of how HIV affected the famous and the not-so-famous, based on Tony Kushner’s complex and fantastic play, starring Al Pacino and Meryl Streep, called ” the best movie of the year ( 2003)” and “A Masterpiece.”
