For all bicycle owners with a bicycle on campus this summer
This is an alert for all bicycle owners who either left their bicycle on campus over the summer or are staying on campus over this summer and have their bicycle. Please read this full announcement. Thank You!
If you have left campus for the summer or are still on campus and your bicycle is locked to a bike rack Public Safety will impound it in a few weeks. You will receive an alert at least two days in advance of the impounding via the Stetson Today web page giving you directions on how to get a tag from the Public Safety office so that your bicycle is not removed from the bicycle rack. Those bikes that do not have a tag will be cut from the bike rack and stored for the summer. This way your bicycle will not be stolen. You will be able to claim your bike at any time by contacting Public Safety at 386-822-7300 but will need a serial number, store receipt or Public Safety bicycle registration sticker as proof that the bicycle is yours. If you still want to take advantage of the Summer Bicycle Storage Stetson Cycles is offering for free, please contact Logan Dodson directly at firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP.
For all bicycle owners, please remember to get your bicycle registered with Public Safety. It is free, takes about 5 minutes, and can help reduce the chance your bicycle will be stolen and increase the chances of recovery if it is stolen. This can be done at the Public Safety Office or Stetson Cycles shop anytime either is open. Please feel free to contact Public Safety at 386-822-7300 or Stetson Cycles at email@example.com. Always have and use the strongest bicycle lock to ensure your bicycle does not get stolen!
