Values Day 2014: Call for Proposals

The Values Commitment Steering Team invites your voice to be heard on Values Day!

Vincent Pizzuto, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Theology and Religious studies at the University of San Francisco, will headline Values Day with a keynote address. Dr. Pizzuto, who has published and presented internationally, will discuss Contemplative Prayer as a platform to engage a community in interfaith dialogue. The schedule also includes workshop sessions taught by Stetson University’s own faculty and staff. We invite you to submit your proposal now.

Build an engaging, informative and academically challenging workshop!

  • Teach your best class
  • Introduce students to your scholarship
  • Explore a topic that falls outside the boundaries of ordinary curricula

The topic of the workshop is open, so long as it connects to at least one of the three core values that constitute Stetson University’s Values Matrix: intellectual development, global citizenship and personal growth.

The VCST encourages co-taught workshops with faculty, staff and students. Please submit a workshop title, sentence-length, and paragraph-length description electronically using our online form.

Proposals are due by Sunday, April 13, 2014.
