Community Engagement Liaison Applications are now OPEN!

The Center for Community Engagement is starting a new committee and would love to have a representative from your organization!

This representative, called a Community Engagement Liaison, would serve as the primary contact between your organization and the CCE. The role of a Community Engagement Liaison(CEL) requires dependability, innovation, and dedication. CELs are required to attend monthly meetings. At these meetings, CELs will be presented with numerous opportunities your organization can take full advantage of (such as community service hours, cultural credits, possible FOE events, and much more). The CEL’s main duty is to inform their student organization of these opportunities AND to recruit volunteers.

Benefits from applying:

  • Service hour opportunities
  • Leadership experience
  • Resume builder
  • Sharpen your networking skills
  • Know about volunteer opportunities on campus before anyone else!
  • Expose your organization to pre-planned cultural credit events, service projects, and events that fulfill FOE requirements

Applications can be obtained by emailing Applications are due March 7, 2014 to Only one representative will be chosen from each organization but everyone is encouraged to apply.
