Music alumni featured on Letterman Friday
Roadkill Ghost Choir, an indie folk-rock band from DeLand, Fla., featuring Stetson alum Stephen Garza ‘10 (lead guitar), brothers Andrew, Maxx and Zach Shepard, and Kiffy Meyers, will be featured on The Late Show with David Letterman, on CBS, Friday night, Jan. 17, at 11:35 p.m. Garza, former student of Music Professor Stephen Robinson, majored in Music Technology/Guitar. In 2012 Roadkill Ghost Choir finished recording their debut E.P., Quiet Light, with producer Dave Plakon ’09 DIGA Sound major, and engineer Mark Mason at North Avenue Studio in Orange City, Fla.
“Both the Music & Digital Arts programs have lots to be proud of in these two young men,” said Nathan Wolek, chair of the Creative Arts Department, and associate professor of Digital Arts.
“It’s always gratifying when our students excel,” said Robinson. “I am especially proud of ‘Garza’ whose uniquely creative spirit and hard work have resulted in this opportunity.”
