Learn Hindu faith; eat Indian food
‘Friday@12’ Celebrate Hindu culture and cuisine
The University Chaplain’s Office, in partnership with Stetson’s International Student Organization, Hindu students, and math professor/chef Hari Pulapaka, Ph.D., will celebrate the understanding of DURGA PUJA, the annual Hindu Festival, on Friday, Oct. 18, at noon in the Hollis Center classroom.
Dr. Pulapaka will relate the Hindu themes to traditional Indian cuisine and will conduct a cooking demonstration. Indian food will be provided by Stetson Food Services.
Student , Poorna Selvarja will lead prayers and offer insights from her own experiences.
Everyone is welcome. Cultural Credit will be given.
