Hometown: DeBary, FL
Major: Political Science and International Studies
Why I Chose Stetson:
I didn't have a normal college search process. High school was not a good time. I missed the deadlines for most of the colleges. One day Stetson emailed me offering to waive my application fees, so I applied. I was accepted and received a good scholarship offer. I have also lived in DeBary since I was 1, so I always knew what Stetson was. I never thought I'd end up here, but I'm so thankful I did.
Involvements on Campus:
I'm an assistant coordinator for the FOCUS orientation program, a student ambassador, and the social chair for Sigma Nu.
What I Like to Do on Weekends:
I like to catch up on my sleep. I also like to hang out with friends, go shopping, and just drive around honestly. If the weather is cold, I really enjoy being outdoors.
My Favorite Class at Stetson:
International Relations with Dr. Tunig. I took it my first semester here, Fall 2018. I chose this class as my favorite because after taking it, I decided to major in political science. It was such an interesting class and I loved learning about international politics.
Advice to Prospective Students:
Take your time and really look into everything. This is a major decision. The college you pick will be your home for a few years, so really make sure you love it. Regardless of where you pick, trust yourself to make the right choice. You earned it.
Favorite Place on Campus:
The balconies on the second floor of the library
