Why I Chose Stetson:
I personally never have been to Stetson before I came to the United States but based on the pictures I saw, I was captivated by the beautiful brick buildings and how green and beautiful the campus is.
Involvements on Campus:
I am in the Bonner Program and I work at the site called Kilometer Kids at the Boys and Girls Club and the Chisholm Center. I was also a FOCUS leader for Fall 2020.
What I Like to Do on Weekends:
I like to hang out with friends and go hammocking in the Palm Court
My Favorite Class at Stetson:
I loved Introductory Biology II taught by Professor Sean Beckmann. I loved the class because Professor Beckmann was a very enthusiastic professor who made his class easy and enjoyable to learn. And even though there were over 40 people in the class, he remembered every one of us by our first and last names and I admired that about him.
Advice to Prospective Students:
Because I didn't get to visit Stetson personally, I would advise students to visit the campus if they have the opportunity and see if they like the environment of the campus. I would recommend them to research what type of colleges they prefer whether the campus is large or small or the size of the student-to-faculty ratio, and many more. I would also advise them to check the weather of the place where the college is to see if it is suitable for their tastes.
