Why I Chose Stetson:

I chose Stetson for the small classes and the beautiful campus.

Involvements on Campus:

Club Softball, Younglife Stetson (Marketing Officer), Student Ambassadors

What I Like to Do on Weekends:

On the weekends, I like to rest, hang out with friends, travel, hike, work, and hang out with my dog.

My Favorite Class at Stetson:

My favorite class at Stetson was probably My FSEM class. The Secret Life of Bees, taught by Dr. Sarah Cramer. I learned about the importance of bees to our environment and our food supply, and how to harvest honey from the local campus hives. Dr. Cramer helped us navigate freshman life. This class helped foster my love for the environment and helped me decide on my major (Environmental Science).

Advice to Prospective Students:

My advice is to become a part of different clubs during your time at Stetson and find a place where you can connect and you feel at home. And it is okay if a club or organization does not work for you. Try a different one. It is super important for your time at Stetson to find your community.

Favorite Place on Campus:

My favorite place on campus is the duPont-Ball Library upstairs patio, or any of the little study nooks in the library.
