What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is the Carlton Union Building. I love sitting in there hanging out with my friends or doing homework for class - I definitely spend most of my time there.

What is your most meaningful experience at Stetson?

My most meaningful experience was getting involved on campus. It helped to bring me out of my shell, develop me into a better leader, and I met some amazing people.

Why did you choose Stetson University?

I choose Stetson because of the community. I am from out-of-the-state, so it was nerve-racking moving to a place I knew no one at, but from the moment I stepped onto campus, I felt welcomed. My student ambassador welcomed me, the admissions office helped me throughout the entire admission process, and my orientation leaders helped me learn about Stetson and made me feel like I belonged here. Staff, faculty, and students continue that community feeling every day - Stetson is my home and I know I will always be a part of this community.

What is your favorite Stetson Tradition?

My favorite Stetson Tradition is Homecoming. I love seeing all the alumni return to campus, hearing their stories, and enjoying the Homecoming events. I cannot wait to come back to Homecoming as an alumni next year!

What is your most memorable Stetson experience?

My most memorable Stetson experience was working for our FOCUS Orientation Program. I met some of my best friends during my orientation and it helped ensure that I picked the best school for me. After that, I was an orientation leader for two years and my last year I was the student coordinator, and every year it got better. Not only was I able to develop as a leader myself, but I was able to welcome the incoming students and be a mentor to the other orientation leaders. FOCUS Orientation is also filled with fun events, so definitely go to everything.
