Why did you choose Stetson University?
Stetson was not my original first choice for a college. One of my friends convinced me to audition for the School of Music. However, once I stepped on campus my vision changed. Everyone you meet and interact with on campus is EXTREMELY nice and caring, and it is genuine. It is crazy that so many genuinely kind people all decided to go to one place to form an amazing community to be apart of.
What is your favorite Stetson tradition?
My favorite tradition on campus is ringing the bell at football games. There is a sense of pride that you feel for your team when we score goals on the field. It really hypes up the crowd and the band.
What is your most memorable Stetson experience?
My most memorable experience on campus would have to be Hatter Saturday. My first tour of the campus was when I auditioned for the School of Music in the early Spring. A former ambassador gave me the tour and was the sweetest person I met. When I came to Hatter Saturday, she remembered me and gave me the biggest hug and was so excited to see me again. That was the moment I knew I was home.
