Stetson University's Higher Education Administration and Supervision program will prepare you for the challenges associated with today's higher education environment.

Program Highlights

Our programs are based on cohort learning. This encourages candidates to build meaningful relationships with their peers in each cohort. Students develop skills necessary to become tomorrow's leaders in higher education through hands-on learning opportunities, cutting-edge higher education theory, and embedded field experiences within different higher education fields. Our professors are experts in their fields and are prepared to provide you with the necessary skills that you need to be successful in your area of interest.

Two courses are offered per semester, each in eight-week terms, to allow students the opportunity to be immersed in one course at a time while completing their degree. The degree is a 36-credit degree and takes two years to complete, should students complete the recommended six credits per term.

As part of Stetson University’s Higher Education Administration and Supervision graduate program, students complete 240 hours of hands-on internship experience within these areas of interest. Students can use their internship time to explore different fields to help determine which areas are of particular interest to them once finished with their degree. Additionally, professional research opportunities are included in this program to help prepare students interested in pursuing doctoral studies with a foundational experience in research.
