Director of Media Services
Dan Payne graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in Telecommunications and Mass Media. He has attained various Adobe, MCP, Crestron, Live Event, and other certifications. He is also a graduate of Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
Payne has more than 25 years of experience in live event technology production, audio visual integrations and digital content creation. He has worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies, local organizations, government agencies, conference and event facilities, radio/TV/e-commerce entities and higher education institutions.
He joined Stetson University College of Law in January 2000. His primary purpose as director of Media Services is to oversee a wide range of audio visual support for all areas of the Stetson Law community. He is responsible for all facets of audio/video and multimedia production, including electronic education and classroom technology support and development at Stetson University College of Law.
Electronic Education Specialist
Julie Kitzmiller graduated from Florida State with a B.S. in Media Production. She has worked in event production, radio, news, and both live and recorded television. She joined Stetson University College of Law in 2008 and has worked with the Electronic Education Program since then, recording lectures and assisting professors and students with technology.
Damon Johnson provides A/V support for classroom technologies, live events, and class recordings. He is a graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting where he became proficient in radio/TV broadcasting, A/V systems, and electronics. He has experience doing broadcasts for live greyhound racing at Derby Lane and live news broadcasts while working as a production assistant at ABC Action News in Tampa. He is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and spent four years in the United States Coast Guard as a boat engineer and boarding team member.
Manager of Video Production
Stan Arthur first joined Stetson Law in 1998 as an audio visual specialist, bringing his love of filmmaking to the fore in the years that followed. Now, as manager of video production, he creates most of the college’s marketing videos, winning numerous awards in the process. He also films special events and runs a 4-camera green screen TriCaster studio where live webcasts are produced. As an independent filmmaker, Arthur has produced several documentary films about people who inspire him, such as an elderly civil rights worker in Anniston, Alabama. His 2012 film “Making Waste” won him best director and best documentary honors in addition to screening at nine different film festivals across the U.S.
