YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program On-site, Beginning 5/18/16
Stetson University College of Law, the YMCA and United Healthcare have teamed up to offer the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program for you!
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program weekly sessions will begin on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:00pm starting on May 18th. The first meeting will be held in the Eleazer Hearing Room.

The program is a lifestyle balance series that includes 16 weekly sessions followed by 3 biweekly and 6 monthly with a trained lifestyle coach. Participants also receive a no charge 4 month trial membership to any of the Tampa Bay area YMCA’s.
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is FREE to United Health Care covered employees* and their covered family members . This program could prevent you or an adult family member from ever becoming a diabetic.
*If you are not covered under United Health Care, there are self pay options and/or scholarships available from the YMCA. Call Kieran at the YMCA to discuss your options.
