Upcoming Programs – St. Petersburg Court
The St. Petersburg Court has several interesting upcoming cases, and students are more than welcome to attend for observation purposes!

January 20th begins voir dire for a tobacco case with Judge Day. The actual trial should begin January 25th in Courtroom G (2nd floor) and is expected to last 3 weeks
February 11, 9:00 the 2nd DCA will be hearing oral arguments in Courtroom A (4th floor)– just for the morning – that afternoon is an appellate seminar presented by the St. Petersburg Bar
February 22 begins voir dire for a probate trial with Judge Shames. The actual trial should begin February 23rd in Courtroom D (3rd floor) and is expected to last 3 weeks (very unusual for probate to have a jury trial)
March 1st begins voir dire for Bollea v. Gawker (2 constitutional issues – privacy v. press). The actual trial should begin March 7th in Courtroom A (4th floor) and is expected to last 2 weeks.
