Save the Date – Leadership Luncheon 3/15
Please the Student Leadership Development Committee as we host Major Elvis Santiago who will be speaking on the Leadership Pillar of Teamwork.
Wednesday, March 15
Maj. Santiago currently serves as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate with the 6th Air Mobility Wing at MacDill AFB in Florida. He is responsible for providing base-level legal support to the 6th Wing, its subordinate organizations and more than 38 mission partners, including U.S. Central Command & U.S. Special Operations Command.
Maj. Santiago graduated in 2009 from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law and then completed his Master of Laws in 2011 from George Washington University, focusing on National Security and U.S. Foreign Relations. Prior to entering the JAG Corps, Maj. Santiago served as both an enlisted and commissioned officer in the U.S. Army (Reserve) and as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of Military Commission Review.
Lunch will be served to the first 100 program participants.
Students who want to enjoy the meal must stay for the duration of the program.
The food will not be allowed to leave the room with non-participants.
Participants will receive one credit toward the Leadership Certificate for participating in the program.
The program is designed to end in time for 1:00pm classes. In order to receive a credit towards the
Leadership Certificate presented at Graduation, participants must stay for the entire program.
