Research Assistant for Professor Hawkins DeBose

Professor Hawkins DeBose is on sabbatical for the Spring 2018 semester, and has two very interesting books that she will be writing. Both are under contract with the ABA — namely, The Child Support Enforcement Handbook (nearly complete) & The Alimony Handbook (new project). The RA will be focused on the Alimony project.

A firm commitment of at least 10 hours per week is necessary — per the ABA rules, law students may work up to 20 hours per week. This is a paid position. If mutually agreed, the RA position may be extended through Summer 2018.
Strong research and writing skills are paramount.

Only 2Ls, 3Ls or 4Ls are eligible. Please — only apply if you can firmly commit to work on assignments for a minimum of 10 hours per week — showing weekly tangible results.
