Pro Bono Opportunity – March 9th, 2018 at Stetson
We have an exciting opportunity to receive Non-Legal Pro Bono Hours!! Fred G. Minnis Bar Association is partnering with Stetson University College of Law to host an event called “The Great Debate.” Tyrone Middle School students will compete in a written and oral competition on March 9th, 2018 at Stetson.
We are in need of law students to assist middle school students with written and oral arguments. We have the following shifts available
Morning Shift 10am-12:00pm (written competition)-Need 10 law students
Afternoon Shift 12:00pm-3pm (oral competition)-Need 10 law students
Afternoon-Law Students present an Oral Argument- 2 law students
Lunch will be provided to all volunteers!
Any Stetson Law student may volunteer. Students will meet in the driveway area across the library. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and indicate your shift preference. The deadline to sign up is Friday March 2nd. Students can bring their Pro Bono Forms to the event to be signed.
