Non-Legal pro bono opportunities with the Advocacy Center!
Stetson’s Advocacy Center invites you to volunteer to help during the Tenth Annual National Pretrial Competition October 13-15, 2017. Your time spent filling these positions can be applied towards your non-legal pro bono requirement!
Judge Greeters – meet local attorneys who have volunteered to judge the competition rounds.
Team Ambassadors – see what a competition is all about; meet competition teams, bring them to their competition room, and stay and watch the round.
General Assistants – will help with various duties during the competition.
To sign-up, please go to the TWEN, and select the course titled “National Pretrial Competition-General Competition Assistance” where you will find the sign-up sheets, and available times!
Advocacy Concentration students can apply time spent helping with the competition to their advocacy pro bono requirement.
Current members of the Advocacy Board should speak with their faculty advisor to confirm whether you are entitled to receive non-legal pro bono hours.
Questions? Please contact the Advocacy Center: 727-562-7317, or email@example.com.
In order to successfully run this competition we need the help of the Stetson community.
