Looking for a Legal Pro Bono Opportunity this summer?
Professor Adams is an appointed Commissioner for the American Bar Association’s Commission on Homelessness and Poverty. In that role, she has been asked to coordinate an update of one of the Commission’s flagship projects, a 2009 publication entitled Runaway and Homeless Youth and the Law: Model State Statutes. This book is distributed free of charge to direct service providers as a public service. If you have strong research and writing skills, and are interested in continuing to hone those skills, please reach out to Professor Adams directly at email@example.com. Deadlines are quite flexible, and the project likely will continue into the fall semester (and perhaps even beyond that.) This is a project that would ideally involve a number of students working together, so feel free to sign up with a friend.
