Last Chance to Nominate for the SBA Summer Advisory Council

If you or somebody you know will be enrolled in summer courses, please consider running for the SBA Summer Advisory Council.

The Summer Advisory Council is a Quasi-Legislative Council that will have authority to act on behalf of the Student Bar Association during the Summer 2017 term. Council members will meet with the SBA President to review summer budget requests, plan summer events (such as the 4th of July parade and barbecue), and prepare for the upcoming fall semester.

**Please note: In order to run for Summer Advisory Council you must be enrolled in summer courses.  No executive council members may apply.

Nominations will start Tuesday, May 30th at 9 am and will be due by 5 pm on Thursday, June 1st.
You may nominate yourself or another student.   Nominations are confidential and are handled through the Elections Committee.

Those who are nominated will be notified and must validate their nomination by Saturday, June 3rd at 3 pm in order to be placed on the election ballot.

Elections will be held Tuesday, June 6th at 12 pm until Thursday, June 8th at 5 pm.

All candidates will be required to abide by strict election rules to ensure a valid election.
