The November Student Leadership Development luncheon  is now available to view! Our November video recording (in lieu of our traditional in-person luncheon), features Andy Oliver speaking on the Leadership pillar of Problem Solving and will be accessible via Engage. This recently recorded program will be available to students from 11/4 at 12pm – 11/11 at 12pm.

All luncheon videos for the fall semester will launched on their originally intended program date (9/16, 10/14 and 11/4) and will remain available for one full week following their release. Viewing a video is worth 1 leadership credit, commensurate with our traditionally scheduled in-person luncheons.

Overview of SLDC Program and Certificate
The purpose of Stetson’s Leadership Development Program is to promote the holistic development of diverse leaders within our campus community by providing a guiding framework for student success in leadership development while preparing students with tools for effective citizenship, personal growth, and professional success. The program is rooted in “Six Pillars of Leadership” including Management, Communication, Service, Community, Team Building and Problem Solving.

The Leadership Development Program will offer opportunities to students allowing them to take part in a variety Leadership Development Sessions. Students participating in the Leadership Development Program have the opportunity to receive a certificate of recognition at graduation. Successful completion of the program requires a total of 15 leadership credits plus a capstone essay.
*LLM Students are required to complete 8 Credits plus the essay.
