|Event: Florida Bar YLD – Uniform Motion Calendar|
|Event Date:||March 21, 2018|
|Time:||6:05 PM - 8:05 PM|
This skills-based evening will provide law students with tools to be successful in their first years of practice. A hearing on the Uniform Motion Calendar is the most common hearing for a new lawyer to attend and argue. As lawyers, you quickly learn that there is nothing “uniform” about these motion calendars, and this workshop aims to provide new lawyers with tools to avoid common pitfalls while demonstrating the importance of preparation for what can sometimes feel like a perfunctory hearing. Please RSVP on HatterSync by Friday, March 9th. The first 30 students to RSVP on HatterSync will be able to actively participate in the student demonstration portion, and those after the first 30 will be welcome to attend and watch the event.
For the benefit of the organization, please RSVP with the link below if you plan on attending.
