Chief Justice First-Year Oral Argument Competition

Are you a first-year student who has not taken R&W II or is not currently enrolled in R&W II? Then we have a competition for you—the Third Annual Chief Justice First-Year Oral Argument Competition!

This intramural competition was started two years ago by the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, and the intramural provides an opportunity for students to learn a little bit about oral advocacy skills and the Moot Court Board prior to taking R&W II.

If you are interested in learning more about this intramural, please come to an informational meeting on Friday, September 9, at 12:00 noon in Classroom A.  (And see the attached 1L Competition Flyer 2016.)

Pizza will be served, and the informational meeting will be videotaped for those who cannot attend.

If you have any questions, please contact Professor Bowman, Professor of Legal Skills, Associate Director for the Center for Excellence in Advocacy, and Moot Court faculty advisor, at
