Christian Legal Society Bible Study

Everyone is welcome to the second Bible study of the semester, hosted by the Christian Legal Society Student Chapter at Stetson Law. The topic of this semester's studies is "Building A Christian Conscience."

Poetry and the Law Open Mic: Celebration of National Indigenous Peoples’ Day & National Coming Out Day

Stetson’s Social Justice Advocacy and Lambda Legal Society are pleased to present our next event in a series of campus conversations about poetry and the law.  All students, staff, and faculty are warmly welcomed to participate in celebration of National Coming Out Day and National Indigenous People’s Day. We observe both National holidays to celebrate various identities and raise awareness for the continued fight for equity and liberation for indigenous, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer folks.

We encourage participants to share their poetry, stories, and art forms on the topic, or just listen and enjoy the fellowship. If you would like to write a poem for the event, consider using this prompt for a Tricube poem. There will be an opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion about law reform towards the end!
