Greetings to all,
We are excited to welcome you back in-person to Stetson’s 2021 Special Needs Trust Conference. We know these are trying times, and your trust in us is greatly appreciated. To ensure a great experience we are working to provide a safe and healthy environment while maintaining the amazing programming and opportunities to network and socialize that we so value.
As is true in all of life, things will look different this year. We want you to be comfortable with our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
As a preface to the more detailed protocols, we expect that all attendees will be vaccinated in light of the vulnerabilities of the communities we serve. We will not be asking for any proof of vaccination. However, we will hold a drawing each day for the attendees who identify themselves as being fully vaccinated. The prizes will be complimentary registrations for next year’s SNT conference.
All attendees and conference staff will be required to wear masks during the conference. Masks will be provided for those who do not have one.
All hotel staff are temperature checked daily (regardless of vaccination status) and are required to wear masks. Any staff dealing with food are required to wear gloves.
We will have two temperature check stations which attendees will need to visit each day of the conference. You will be given a colored sticker (different color for each day) to wear on your name badge to show that you have been checked for that day. If your temperature is above 100.4, you will NOT be permitted to enter the conference area. If you are unable to enter the conference area, we will provide the zoom links to live stream the Annual Conference, and/or the recordings of the Wednesday programing.
We will be offering rubber wristbands to each participant if they wish to identify their comfort level:
- Green = I am vaccinated and comfortable with all interactions.
- Yellow = I am comfortable with talking, but no physical touch.
- Red = Please stay 3 feet away.
We will be providing for social distancing throughout the conference, including during registration, session rooms, and dining areas.
To aid with contact tracing, each session table and dining table will be marked with a number. We will provide cards and will ask attendees to write their name and the seat number in which they are sitting, for each individual session. These cards will be collected after each session.
We will have multiple hand sanitizer stations throughout all conference areas, dining areas, registration area, and session rooms.
Should you have any questions about these precautions, please email [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you soon!
