Electronic Education
Stetson University College of Law offers two-degree programs and several J.D. courses online. Many of the courses are provided through a system that combines video-on-demand lectures with PowerPoint presentations. All classes have discussion boards. The recorded lectures are high-quality productions, with the vast majority filmed in a studio with professional lighting.
Stetson's Overview of U.S. Law, a course that provides a basic understanding of the U.S. legal system, will be available for student participation starting in the summer of 2009. The course offers two hours of video casts on each of the 17 different legal subjects.
In addition to online courses for students, Stetson Law offers the Advocacy Resource Center as an electronic education resource for students and attorneys across the nation.
