Request For Summer Financial Aid

If you are planning to take classes in the Summer semester and wish to apply for financial aid, please complete this form. Summer aid will be processed beginning mid-April.

Students enrolled in summer courses may qualify to borrow certain federal loans to assist with the cost of the summer session. Students should be aware that borrowing federal loans for a summer session will count toward the established borrowing limits that apply to all federal loan programs. Students should consult the Office of Student Financial Planning to review their specific eligibility. Basic eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours
  • Graduate students must be enrolled for a minimum of 3 credit hours.
  • A completed copy of this form must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Planning.
  • A valid FAFSA for the current school year must be on file for students to borrow any federal loans during the Summer session.
  • Dropping a course during the summer term can affect your financial aid eligibility for the future.
  • Students may need to complete additional requirements as directed such as entrance counseling or a master promissory note.
