Application for In-Service Tuition Scholarship

Stetson University offers up to a 40% tuition scholarship for graduate level students employed full-time for nonprofit organizations as teachers, administrators or counselors, as well as members of the clergy under contract. These scholarships are for students enrolled in Counseling, Education or certification graduate programs with the College of Arts and Sciences.

  • The deadline to complete this form is the first day of class.
  • The tuition scholarship amount is determined by the number of credit hours enrolled in and will not appear on your billing statement if the scholarship form is not received prior to the billing statement processing date.
  • Students must submit proof of employment to the Office of Student Financial Planning.

If you are also interested in applying for financial aid, you must meet the following requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizen
  • Make satisfactory academic progress
  • Register with the Selective Service, if required
  • Not be in default on a loan or owe repayment on a federal grant
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Unconditional acceptance in a program of study leading to a specific graduate (Master’s or Specialist) degree
  • Enroll at least half time (3 credits per term for graduate students; 6 credits per term for certificate students)
