CURRENT PROJECTS
Elizabeth Hall ADA Upgrades
Expected Completion: Summer 2024
Renovation of approximately 3,300 square feet of the historic 1892 building
New features include a new elevator serving all three floors and the renovation/addition of new restrooms on all three floors. New stairs and a new accessible ramp will be installed at the main entrance to the building.
Edmunds Center Renovation
Phase 1 Expected Completion: Early 2025
Renovation of approximately 6,500 square feet of the building.
New features include full renovation of the public restrooms and the shower/restroom areas of each team room. A new seating and sound system will be installed in the gym to improve the fan experience. A new 4,000-square-foot addition to the building will house a new stair tower and elevator connecting to all levels of the building.
Hulley Tower Reconstruction
Expected Completion: Summer 2026
Originally constructed in 1934, Hulley Tower was destroyed by multiple hurricanes in 2004 and taken down to its base a year later. A historic reconstruction effort was launched to restore Hulley Tower to its former 116-foot height with a new 52-bell carillon to ring out across campus. The former Eloise chimes will be incorporated into the reconstruction in other ways, paying homage to Hulley Tower’s place in our history. The project will be fully funded by generous donations.
New Residence Hall
Expected Completion: Early 2026
The project consists of constructing a new 4-story 88,000 square foot residence hall.
The building will include 305 beds in mixed types of student resident units, individual restroom and shower facilities, staff apartment, community kitchens and lounges, laundry facilities, study rooms, and other support spaces like a seminar room and large community area with interior and exterior gathering space. Site improvements include a complete transformation of this area of campus with the permanent closure of a section of Bert Fish Drive, an amphitheater, improved circulation, new landscaping and parking.
